Project Overview
Producing a brand identity for yourself is a very tough task, as you are your own worst critic but nevertheless I set about refreshing my brand identity as part of my new website redesign. The aim of the exercise was to create a clean, simple, neutral brand that reflects the progression of both my portfolio and approach as and providing a slick timeless platform for all future design collateral.
The result is a simple geometric minimalist identity that focuses on the abbreviated SW initials of my name, paired with a striped-back colour palette.
Logo Design
I was quite happy with the logo I currently had, however I felt it need tweaking and by incorporating the added dimensions and making the iconmark ‘stroked’ rather than ‘solid’ I felt it gave the mark a much more sophisticated dynamic look. .
Print Collateral & Stationary
Once I was happy with the logo mark I expanded this across the entire identity and created a stationary set consisting of business cards, pencils, folders, letterhead & invoice templates, postage packaging and also a limited run of printed portfolio’s .
